Have extensive experience of Internal Auditing, Risk Assessment, Internal Controls (manual and automated), Business Process Re-engineering and Entity Level Controls. Have experience of implementing accounting software (SHERP) along with other policies and procedures (relevant to Accounts & Finance) keeping in view standard industry practices and regulatory requirements. Knowledge & experience of final accounts preparation e.g. profit & loss accounts, balance sheet, cash flows etc. along with expertise in finance side of the business e.g. banking matters, project feasibility reports etc.
1. Implementation of Sidat Hyder ERP accounting software in accordance with standard industry practices and ensuring appropriate controls in its implementation.
2. Provision of documents and other information for obtaining financing facilities from various financial institutions.
3. Preparing monthly accounts including P & L, Balance Sheet, Cash flow Statements along with receivables and payables positioning.
4. Managing a team of eight individuals and allocating roles and responsibilities along with timely and efficient reviews and appropriate feedback.
5. Ensuring timely opening of Letter of Credits (LC’s), reviewing documentation requirements and monitoring LC’s from obtaining and submitting Performa Invoice, insurance cover, payment of duties and liasoning with clearing agents for clearing of goods to payment to vendor.
6. Monitor cost of various components of LC’s e.g. purchase price, bank commission, insurance cost, duties, freight, markup cost holding cost, demurrages against budgeted costs, if exceeds take timely remedial actions and report to higher management.
7. Manage organizational cash flow and preparation of short and long-term financial forecasting of financial performances, in case of adverse financial position; identifying alternates for arranging sufficient liquidity timely.
8. Reviewing all the entries on sample basis and posting month end entries e.g. accruals, cost of production, various including sales tax, income tax, finance cost etc.
9. Reviewing and finalizing monthly sales tax return and withholding tax statements.
10.Filling various regulatory documents and records to regulatory authorities e.g. FBR, SECP, State Bank of Pakistan etc.
